Variety Description:

Hank is an easy threshing, high yielding, hard red spring wheat that was bred for Hessian Fly tolerance. Hank inherited the excellent yield and protein characteristics of its parents, WestBred 936 and WestBred 926. Hank is most similar to WestBred 926 in growth habit and height. Hank has shown improved yields and less shatter than WestBred 926. This variety is well adapted to both dry land and irrigated applications. Milling and baking quality of Hank is acceptable to the industry.
