The Palouse Prairie ecosystem was a beautiful expanse of rolling hills covered with native bunchgrasses and flowering shrubs and forbs. This region ecompassed much of the rollings hills in Northwest Montana and West into Idaho and Eastern Washington. Much of this habitat has been lost to development but these grasses and forbs can help restore that native beauty that once covered this landscape.
